Henrique Dimmy

I’m Henrique Dimmy, a lighting programmer and operator. I’ve been working in lighting for nearly 17 years—14 of them spent continuously on the road, touring with artists. Today, I serve as the Lighting Designer for Vintage Culture and the lead programmer for Rocca Lighting, powering shows for artists like Alok and festivals like Lollapalooza Brazil and Só Track Boa. Every tool in this system was born on the road, created to solve real-world problems faced by me and my team. I’ve always been driven by one thing: never letting the console limit me. I like to envision the end result first, then figure out which functions to use to get there. This mindset pushes me to find solutions for a wide range of challenges and allows me to expand—going far beyond the console's most obvious workflows. That is the method I want to share with you through Dimmy Tools: the tools themselves and the mindset I apply to both programming and live operation.
